7 Days of Gratitude
Hey, there! Is that you, my dearest reader? It is so nice to see that you are back. If you are here for the first time, cool and nice to meet you. My name is Xenia and I hope you will enjoy our adventure! Today I want to challenge YOU.
Recently in so many magazines or blogs, you can find so many different 7 (or less/more) days challenges. It can be anything. “Walk extra mile” 7 day challenge. “Eat healthier”7 day challenge. “Drink more water” 7 day challenge. “Go plant-based”7 day challenge. Have you ever tried any of that?
If you are completely happy with your life, you will not step out of your comfort zone. And, let’s face it, any “day” challenge is exactly that! but what exactly motivates you to try something different?
Could that be some health problem?
Or maybe your lack of exercise?
Or you do it to support your friend?
The bigger question is: ” Why don’t you want to change your life completely? Why only for some amount of days?”
Some people believe, that if it is difficult, it is not worth it ( I was one of them ). Some people look outside for support and motivation. But, let’s face it, first of all, you should look inside yourself.
What are you afraid of? Because, according to may grams, any change is a good change! Life is too short to constantly be looking for easy ways out of uncomfortable situations.
If you want to change any aspect of your life, look for different ways to improve yourself first.
Let me tell you about my morning motivation. My little dude wakes me up and I know that I need my morning coffee first to conquer whatever that day might bring!
To accomplish that ( drinking my morning coffee), I switch on some music and watch my little bear dance. That gives me so much positive energy and overall joy, I feel like I can do anything!
Do you have a morning routine, that charges your day? If your answer is “No” than it is time for a change! Don’t you know that if you start your morning right, you will have the day you always wanted!? Yes, that’s right!
The only thing that stands between you and success you desire is….wait for it…YOU!
But do not fear! You can change your life by adapting a morning routine that works for you.
You can wake up earlier and do your workout. Apparently by exercising in the morning, not only will you burn more calories through your day, but you will be more active. All. Day. Long!
Another good way to start your day: read that book you always wanted to read. Or spend some quality time with your family. Or take your dog for a walk if you have one unless you are a cat person ( like me ). If you want to have a positive day, you need to charge it with positive energy first. And the most amazing thing is, you are the one in control!
I will share with you another way to make your day amazing. Every morning start with a feeling of gratitude. And it doesn’t matter if you already have everything that you wish for or you only half-way there. Because everyone has something that they are grateful for!
Please, my dear reader, tell me. What is wonderful in your life? What are you grateful for? And it can be something as little as being able to get to work on time. Or maybe as grand as having a roof over your head. If you are reading this, means you can be grateful for the internet or computer (or phone) or the ability to see and read.
Every time I feel down, I think back to everything and everyone I am grateful for! And that feeling fills me with warmth and love. It is easy to concentrate on all the things we want to accomplish. And it is good! But sometimes you need just feel gratitude! You can use this amazing gratitude journal to help you to improve your life one day at a time.

7 Days Challenge
I challenge YOU, my dear reader! I call it “7 days gratitude challenge”. For the next 7 days start your morning with reminding yourself what you are truly grateful for. And on the 8th day I challenge you to start another “7 days gratitude challenge”. And another! Then another! And in no time you will realize, that your life is not the same! Your life is so much better! And you are so much happier!
I challenge you to challenge yourself! Starting tomorrow! For the next 7 days telling everyone who or what you are grateful for! Post pictures on Instagram, use #7daysofgratitude and #fitoakschallenge! I will be with you every step of your journey!
But YOU have to take that first step!
