I am one of those people, who think, that gym is all you need if you want to have a proper workout. And it doesn’t matter if it is a cardio workout or you are going to use weights…

Wait for a second…

To be precise, I used to be one of those people, who thought you need the gym to exercise and have visible results. Everything changed when I (unexpectedly) became preggo. Prior to that, I was using the gym regularly(ish) at least 1-2 times per week. Not too bad for someone who likes the comfort of her sofa (or bed) so much, she could spend a whole day with her favourite book and a cup of tea or coffee. To be honest, I got a little bit of extra motivation, when my gym changed location and moved next door to my workplace. I mean, I could simply go thereafter or before my shift, instead of finding excuses why I couldn’t exercise that day.

But once I found out me and my hubby is expecting, everything changed. For thirst a couple of months I was so constantly tired and all I wanted to do was sleep, which I did a lot. I could come home from work to have something to eat and go to bed at 7 pm and have a full night sleep. At that point, I decided to cancel my gym membership, because there was no energy left for workouts of any kind.

However, after my energy levels returned in a couple of months, I started to look for ways to bring exercise back into my life.

At-home workouts

It was an accident. I accidentally found cool #fitmom on Instagram and decided to start following her. You know, for daily motivation and other stuff. And that cool #fitmom was pregnant at that time. Moreover, she was actively exercising at home. Therefore, I decided, that I could follow her example and find” ways to add fitness to your life”.

Let me tell you something. There is so much information on the internet, you will not believe me.

However, how can you make sure, that those at-home workouts will actually work?

And if you are anything like me, you might ask yourself:
